Unconventional Wells Specialist
Requisitos:
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related fields
✔️ 10+ years of experience in drilling, completion, and/or stimulation operations, ideally in unconventional reservoirs
✔️ Strong knowledge of upstream safety and environmental regulations
✔️ Proven experience working with contractors and integrated service providers
✔️ Proficiency in tools such as WellView, OpenWells, Landmark, or similar platforms
✔️ Advanced English (spoken and written)
✔️ Results-oriented mindset, strong decision-making skills, and collaborative work style
Funciones Principales:
🔹 Provide technical leadership and advice for unconventional well planning and execution (drilling, completion, stimulation)
🔹 Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to ensure safe and efficient field operations
🔹 Monitor real-time operations, intervene in deviations, and recommend corrective actions
🔹 Contribute to well design, AFE reviews, and technical/economic assessments
🔹 Report operational results, capture lessons learned, and document best practices
🔹 Act as a technical reference for audits, HSE visits, and corporate reviews
Do you have experience in the design and execution of shale drilling and completion programs?
Have you been involved in operational risk assessment, mitigation strategies, or performance analysis in well operations?
Are you familiar with local regulatory frameworks (e.g., D.S. 341, provincial regulations)?
Have you worked with KPIs in well operations or led continuous improvement initiatives?
Have you performed on-site supervision and provided technical mentoring to multidisciplinary teams?
